Let. Her. SPEAK.

Building space for nature's voice

Also available on Spotify:

It’s time we quiet the masculine ego and listen to her voice. Her melody, her song, her flowing flourishing tone. I am determined to build and provide space for us to start listening, again. Turning to nature, the goddess, so that we can flourish as a people, through a healthy relationship with the divine feminine, instead of this unhealthy using, suckling, taking, stealing ego so much of our society carries now. I am personally guilty of using others instead of listening myself to the true voice of the divine feminine. Turn with me, now, to the true source of nature’s life-giving springs, hear her songs, carry them in your heart, and give back to nature the gifts that she endlessly gives us.

It is I who must begin.

Once I begin, once I try --

here and now,

right where I am,

not excusing myself

by saying things

would be easier elsewhere,

without grand speeches and

ostentatious gestures,

but all the more persistently

-- to live in harmony

with the "voice of Being," as I

understand it within myself

-- as soon as I begin that,

I suddenly discover,

to my surprise, that

I am neither the only one,

nor the first,

nor the most important one

to have set out

upon that road.

Whether all is really lost

or not depends entirely on

whether or not I am lost.

Vaclav Havel, (from Teaching With Fire)

“Stream” of consciousness:

Have you ever sat down next to a stream or river to ponder its endlessly flowing nature? Do you marvel as I have at the idea that though I walk away from the ear-shot of the river’s melodies, and though I step away from the cool of the water’s flow, that river or stream continue to flow, despite how to me, the fluidity of that experience becomes crystalized into a static memory, seeming to cease its flow and current, as if its great currents stop and wait until I return? No, these rivers, these streams, they flow endlessly. Nature’s ways are endless and steady, unlike our humanly bombastic ways. This musing has given me much comfort in my temporary senses, giving me the sense that I am, too, endlessly flowing, an endless fount of pure flowing water running through and out of me, constantly changing, endlessly. This musing has brought me comfort in the changes, the devastations, the pain of transition. Giving me a deep sense of comfort as I allow new waters to wash over me, bringing me new treats, new lessons, an endless flow of wonder.

Wonder with me, now, as we turn to nature, turn to her voice. I am determined to build space for her and her ways, a turning, a flowing.

Context

I recorded this in one of the most precious spots in the world to me. Grounding my feet, into the soil and water, wandering a path and place I love and know. I sat and meditated as the microphone recorded what my ears were feasting on, an endless melody that stirred a sense of meaning and survival deep in my heart, enlighting my physical and spiritual beings. Lulled into a meditative state for hours as I recorded, I hope you can share in the gift of nature’s melody, her voice, her song.

Personally, I hate nature sounds that are on short loops, so I recorded a nice, long one for you. Let me know if you want me to put it on a podcast platform to listen to for sleeping

All my love,

Huckleberry Bryan
